ENLAB Italia has been collaborating with the construction industry for decades, offering reliable testing and certification solutions that ensure construction materials, products, and systems meet the highest standards of safety, performance, and durability. Our expertise supports manufacturers, builders, and developers in complying with both European and international regulations, enabling faster time-to-market and increased competitiveness.
Mechanical and Structural Resistance – Ensuring products withstand the demands of real-world conditions.
Fire Resistance & Passive Fire Protection – Verifying compliance with European fire safety regulations and performance standards.
Thermal and Acoustic Performance – Measuring insulation efficiency and noise control for buildings.
Durability and Environmental Resistance – Testing against weathering, corrosion, vibration, and other environmental factors.
Chemical and Physical Characterization – Analyzing material composition and quality.
Thermal Conductivity Testing
Enlab Italia is an independent testing and certification body providing validated assessment of thermal performance characteristics of construction materials.
Thermal conductivity (K-value) testing is conducted in accordance with internationally recognized standards under controlled laboratory conditions to ensure precise and reliable results. The testing methodology ensures accurate determination of heat transfer properties, supporting compliance with energy efficiency and building performance criteria.
Upon completion of testing, Enlab Italia issues certified third-party test reports confirming the thermal conductivity of the submitted product/system. These reports serve as recognized documentation for regulatory submissions, green building certifications, and project compliance requirements.

Acoustic Performance Testing (STC / NRC / CAC)
we operate as an independent third-party testing and certification body specializing in the evaluation of building materials and systems. The laboratory conducts acoustic performance testing in accordance with internationally recognized standards.
Testing for Sound Transmission Class (STC) is carried out as per ASTM E90 and classified in accordance with ASTM E413. Where applicable, additional parameters such as Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) and Ceiling Attenuation Class (CAC) are evaluated using relevant ASTM standards, including ASTM E1414.
These reports are widely accepted for project submissions and demonstrate compliance with applicable acoustic performance requirements.
Acoustic Performance Testing measures how building materials and systems control sound transmission, absorb noise, and improve interior acoustic comfort based on recognized industry standards.
NRC (Noise Reduction Coefficient) measures how much sound a material absorbs within a room. It is commonly used for acoustic panels, ceilings, and wall finishes.
STC (Sound Transmission Class) rates how effectively a wall, door, window, or partition reduces airborne sound transfer between spaces. Higher STC values indicate better sound insulation.
CAC (Ceiling Attenuation Class) measures how well a ceiling system blocks sound traveling between adjacent rooms through the ceiling plenum.
